The lead photograph is of an SDP-40 locomotive motor pulled for replacement due to overheating damage. This is mounted in the PRESS OFF FLYWHEEL POSITION. It is representative of the typical size of large locomotive motor configurations. The original price of .75 will resume on 10/1/2019.
NEWLY IMPROVED. It works for Athearn Brass/Steel Blue Box HO scale motors and ATLAS YELLOW BOX MOTORS with the potential for other use. Please consider how much money this will save you over the course of your hobby when bidding on it.
The idea is not just to pull these flywheels but also to reinstall them to the correct position by pressing them back on where needed. Before pulling You first measure the shaft where the flywheel is visible behind the flywheel by using an item like sized such as any tool edge,pocket knife,feeler gauges or even box lid .This will enable you to press it back on to the correct setting. It comes with two shaft size drifts 1.8mm & 2.9mm. MOTOR ASSEMBLIES ARE  NOT PART OF AUCTION IT IS ONLY FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES.

ATLAS flywheels and the PROTOS can be done by hand in the video since the inserts are the managing contact on the motor shaft. The ATHEARNS however are a metal on metal design with a gradually tapered fit and must be pressed off and back on with greater force than can be done by hand and the other motors present removal problems without the tool as well.      Comes with Puller,Slotted Washer,2mm drift shaft, 3mm drift shaft and instructions.
